LED bathroom guide
In a small bathroom, size the mirror to the vanity rather than the wall, and centre it on the basin. Ours start at 600 mm wide, and the round one is 800 mm across. All of them plug into a standard power point, hold three light tones and carry a demister on its own touch. That's the short version. The rest is your vanity, your wall and where the shower screen sits.
Measure the vanity, not the wall
A bathroom mirror takes its size from the vanity underneath it. Keep the glass inside the vanity's width, centre it on the basin rather than the wall, and the whole wall settles before you've hung anything else. Basins are hardly ever centred in a room, and it's the basin your eye reads.
Over a 900 mm vanity, the Elena LED at 900 mm high and 600 mm wide leaves 150 mm of clear tile each side. That's the shape of it, not a rule: a wall with a return or a tall cabinet beside it wants its own measure. If the vanity is narrower again, the Jasmine LED is 800 mm across and uses a tight wall better than a rectangle can, because there's no corner to run out of room in.
A wider vanity, or a wall that runs long
The Vittoria LED is 1100 mm high and 900 mm wide, so it stands taller than it is wide. It's the one for a vanity around a metre, where the Elena starts to look small against the bench.
Then there's the bathroom wall that runs wider than it is tall. The Danielle LED is the mirror we make for exactly that, 1000 mm high and 1500 mm wide, landscape, and the only one in the range that way round. At 1500 mm across it needs a clear run of wall wider than that, so it's the measurement to take before anything else. Its drawing is worth a look before you order too, because most people picture it standing tall and it doesn't.
Three tones, all on one touch point
Every LED mirror we sell holds the same three tones: 3000K, 4500K and 6500K, with a CRI above 80 on all three. There's no switch on the wall and no remote to lose. You tap the glass to turn it on, tap again to move to the next tone, and hold to dim it.

Most people find their tone in the first week and leave it there. The other two are for the mornings that aren't like the others: a dark winter start, or a room that's already full of daylight and doesn't want any more warmth in it.
The demister is its own touch
The demister is a pad behind the glass, and it runs on its own touch, separate from the light. Turn it on and the glass warms, so the fog doesn't settle while the room is still steamy. In a small bathroom that's the difference between using the mirror after a shower and wiping it first.
It's a separate touch for a reason. Some people leave it on all winter and off all summer. Some never turn it off. Either way, the light and the demister don't depend on each other.
Where it can go
Two placement rules, and they're both short. The mirror goes outside the shower screen, and it doesn't go over a bath. Above the vanity is where it earns its keep anyway, because that's where you stand and usually where the power point is.
It plugs in
Ours plug into a standard power point. The lead comes out of the back with an Australian plug already fitted, which you can see on the back view of any of the drawings. For most bathrooms that makes an LED mirror a question of a power point within reach, not a renovation.
If you'd rather the lead wasn't there, hardwiring is the optional version, and that's the one job a licensed electrician does. Keep the invoice if you go that way, since a hardwired warranty claim asks for it.
What you're lifting
The wall mirrors are lighter than they look. Jasmine LED is 6.5 kg, Elena LED 6.2 kg, Vittoria LED 11.4 kg. Danielle LED is the heavy one at 20.3 kg, so that's a mirror to hang with someone else in the room. All four hang on heavy duty mounting brackets bonded to the back, and the drawing on each product page gives the bracket positions in millimetres, so the wall can be marked before the mirror is out of its carton.
If the room isn't that small
Not every bathroom is a small one. If yours has a full wall free, the Sienna LED arch is 1800 mm high and 850 mm wide, 24 kg, the same three tones and the same demister. It's the only mirror we make with removable standing legs, so it hangs on the wall in the bathroom and can stand in a bedroom later if the room ever changes around it.
