Returns & Warranty
Every Seventeen Mirrors piece carries a 2-year warranty from the day it's delivered. We can stand behind our mirrors like this because we choose pieces we'd hang in our own homes, and we carry every one to your door ourselves.
The short version
Damaged on arrival? Tell us within 72 hours and we'll replace it free. A fault shows up later? You're covered for 2 years. Changed your mind? We can't take returns, so measure twice and ask us anything before you buy. We'd rather help you choose well than sell you the wrong mirror.
Damaged in transit
Check your mirror at delivery, or as soon as you can. If it arrives damaged, email hello@seventeenmirrors.com.au within 72 hours with your order number and photos showing the damage and the packaging. We'll arrange a free replacement, and you don't need to send the damaged mirror back.
If you won't be able to unbox within 72 hours, let us know your planned unboxing date when you order and we'll note it against your delivery.
What the 2-year warranty covers
Manufacturing faults in materials and workmanship, including:
- Mirror glass faults such as discolouration, delamination or silvering failure
- Frame faults such as warping, finish peeling or structural failure under normal use
- LED electrical faults such as lighting failure, touch control or demister faults
- Supplied mounting hardware
The warranty runs for 2 years from your delivery date. If we repair or replace a mirror under warranty, the replacement is covered for the rest of the original period.
What it doesn't cover
- Accidents, misuse or damage after delivery (transit damage belongs under the 72-hour window above)
- Improper installation, including leaning mirrors left unanchored and LED mirrors not installed by a licensed electrician
- Damage from abrasive or harsh chemical cleaners
- Normal wear, and cosmetic marks that don't affect use
One LED note: hardwired LED mirrors must be installed by a licensed electrician. Keep the electrician's invoice, as we'll ask for it with any LED warranty claim.
Change of mind
We don't offer change-of-mind returns. Mirrors are big, fragile and expensive to move, and return freight both ways would end up built into every price on the site. We'd rather keep prices honest and help you get the choice right the first time. Full dimensions are on every product page, and the FAQ covers sizing room by room. Still unsure? Sale items
Sale items are final sale, except where they arrive damaged or develop a fault. Your consumer law rights always apply.
How to claim
Email hello@seventeenmirrors.com.au with your order number, photos of the issue, and the electrician's invoice for LED claims. We usually reply within one business day. If it's our fault, we'll put it right with a repair, replacement or refund.
Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method. Banks can take a further 5 to 10 business days to show the credit.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Everything on this page sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, never instead of them. If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you're entitled to a remedy regardless of our policies.
