How to choose a hallway mirror
The hallway is the hardest-working wall in the house, and usually the most awkward. It's narrow, it's the first thing you see when you walk in, and it's the last place you check yourself before you leave. The right mirror does three jobs at once: it throws light down a dark hall, it makes a tight space feel wider, and it gives you a full look on the way out. Here's how to choose one that fits.
Width is the constraint, so measure it first
In a hallway, width decides everything. Measure the wall, then leave breathing room on each side so the mirror doesn't crowd the space or catch a shoulder as you pass. As a rough rule, leave at least 100 to 150mm clear on either side. A slim full-length like the in-stock Sienna 1700 x 610 is built for exactly this: head-to-toe height at only 610mm wide, so it works where a wider mirror would feel tight.
Full-length, or above a console
Two setups work in a hall. A full-length, leaning or mounted, gives you a proper top-to-toe check before you leave. Or a smaller mirror above a console brings light and a quick glance, with somewhere to drop your keys. Let the shape set the mood
