Warranty
Every Seventeen Mirrors product carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It applies to mirrors bought and installed for normal residential use in Australia.
What is covered
- Defects in the mirror glass, such as discolouration, delamination or silvering failure
- Frame defects, such as warping, finish peeling or structural failure under normal use
- LED electrical faults, such as LED failure, touch control malfunction or demister failure
- Defects in the supplied mounting hardware
What is not covered
- Damage caused by accident, misuse or negligence
- Damage from improper installation, including a leaning mirror that wasn't anchored, and a hardwired LED mirror that wasn't installed by a licensed electrician
- Damage from exposure to extreme environmental conditions
- Damage from improper cleaning, such as abrasive or chemical cleaners
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect function
- Damage to the outer packaging only, where the mirror itself is undamaged
- Damage present on arrival that isn't reported within 72 hours (arrival damage sits under our 72-hour replacement process, not the warranty)
LED mirrors
Our LED mirrors plug into a standard power point, and the lead comes with an Australian plug fitted, so there's no electrician needed to get one running. Prefer the cord hidden? You can choose to have your mirror hardwired to mains wiring instead. That optional job must be done by a licensed electrician. Keep the electrician's invoice, because an electrical warranty claim on a hardwired mirror may be declined without proof of professional installation. Our LED mirrors are rated for ensuite and bathroom walls outside the shower screen, and aren't intended for use directly over a bath.
How to claim
Email hello@seventeenmirrors.com.au with your order number, date of purchase and photos that clearly show the defect. If your LED mirror was hardwired, include the electrician's invoice. Your order confirmation is your proof of purchase. We'll assess your claim and offer a repair, replacement or refund.
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty period
The 2-year warranty period begins on the date of delivery. If a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the replacement is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
The plain-English version, including transit damage and returns, lives on the Returns & Warranty page.
