How we deliver: glass, care, and why we bring it ourselves

Ask anyone who's freighted a mirror what arrived at the other end, and you'll hear the same story. Glass doesn't get second chances. A mirror is one of the most fragile things you can put in a truck, and a courier network is a system of conveyor belts, depots and tight schedules built for boxes that bounce.

So ours never go near it. Every mirror we sell is delivered by our own team. It travels padded and upright, handled by people who know exactly what's in the package because we packed it.

Where we deliver

We only deliver where we can do the job properly ourselves. In Victoria, that's Melbourne from the CBD down to Mornington, for every mirror in the range. In Queensland, it's Brisbane down to Coolangatta, including the Gold Coast, for the Sienna range. Enter your postcode at checkout and it confirms coverage before you pay. If you're outside the zones, ask us, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help rather than handing your mirror to a courier and hoping.

What it costs and how it works

$100 flat for any mirror, any size. Free on orders over $800. No surprise freight calculator at checkout and no price-on-application for the big pieces.

After you order, you hear from us directly to set a delivery window that suits. That's the upgrade over a tracking number: a person, a window, and a mirror that arrives when you're actually home. In-stock mirrors usually land within 5 to 10 business days. Pre-order pieces arrive August 2026, and we'll arrange the window as soon as they land.

We bring your mirror to the front door or ground-floor entrance. The large pieces are heavy, so have a second set of hands ready for the stairs and the final placement. Tall mirrors are genuinely a two-person move, and we'd rather say so here than have you discover it solo in a doorway.

If something goes wrong

We won't promise nothing ever breaks. Glass is glass, and anyone who guarantees perfection is selling something. What we promise is what happens next: check your mirror when it arrives, and if it's been damaged on the way, email hello@seventeenmirrors.com.au within 72 hours with photos and your order number. We'll arrange a free replacement, and you don't send the damaged one back. Beyond transit, every mirror carries a 2-year warranty from delivery. Once it's home

Two habits keep a mirror perfect for years. Anchor it: leaning mirrors get fixed to the wall with the supplied fixings, every time, no exceptions, and the installation guide shows you how. Clean it gently: a soft damp cloth and mild glass cleaner, never abrasives, which can mark the glass and the finish.
